Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. More than 1.8 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people's lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using the Docusign AI-native IAM platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you'll do

As a Lead Product Designer on the Manage team, you will shape what happens after an agreement is signed. You will help organizations make agreements easy to find, understand, monitor, and act on throughout their lifecycle.

You will design experiences across Docusign Agreement Manager and the broader Manage space, including search and discovery, agreement insights, party and relationship management, obligations, renewals, notifications, and post-signature workflows. Your work will help customers move beyond storing agreements to realizing their value while staying ahead of commitments, reducing risk, and connecting agreement data to the people and processes that depend on it.

AI is changing how customers manage agreements and how we design products. You will define practical, trustworthy ways for AI to surface meaning, recommend next steps, automate routine work, and support better decisions. You will make AI understandable and verifiable, with the transparency, control, and human oversight customers need. You will also help our team use AI more effectively across research, exploration, prototyping, and iteration, without compromising customer empathy, design quality, or product judgment.

This is a highly collaborative role working closely with Product Management, Engineering, User Research, Content Design, Data Science, AI specialists, and the broader design team. Together, you will define the future of post-signature agreement management and help Docusign deliver on the promise of IAM.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Product Design.

Responsibility

  • Lead design strategy and execution for complex Manage workflows-from early concepts through shipped experiences and continuous improvement

  • Design across post-signature journeys including agreement discovery, insights, obligations, renewals, notifications, relationships, and workflow automation

  • Turn complex agreement data and cross-product workflows into experiences that help customers understand commitments, reduce risk, and take action

  • Design AI-powered experiences that surface meaning, extract information, recommend next steps, and automate routine work in ways that are useful and trustworthy

  • Apply principles of transparency, explainability, human control, verification, and responsible AI to enterprise experiences

  • Help the design team use AI more effectively to accelerate research, synthesis, exploration, prototyping, and iteration while maintaining strong product judgment and craft

  • Simplify complex enterprise workflows and create alignment across Product Management, Engineering, User Research, Content Design, Data Science and Design
