RF Filter Assembler

Your Job

Smith's Interconnect, a Molex company, is seeking an RF Filter Assembler to join our production team in Salisbury, MD. In this role, you'll play a vital part in our manufacturing operations by assembling electronic components, systems, and subsystems according to established specifications and work instructions.

The starting pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, with the potential for a higher starting rate based on relevant experience.

What You Will Do

• Assemble electronic components, systems, and subsystems according to technical specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Safely use assigned hand tools, equipment, and materials to complete assembly operations.
• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with established specifications and standards.
• Identify and report assembly issues or discrepancies and work with team members and supervisors to resolve production challenges.
• Document required production activities and maintain an organized workstation in accordance with established procedures.
• Meet production requirements while following applicable safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Participate in process-improvement activities and support training of team members as needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience safely using hand tools and basic assembly equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and other production documentation.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required for the role, including standing for extended periods and performing repetitive assembly tasks.
• Ability to identify assembly issues and follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Experience with soldering and/or an IPC certification.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical documentation, blueprints, or assembly diagrams.
