Position Title: Canning Line Operator
Wage: $21.00+/hour Depending on experience Shift: 3rd Hours: 11:00pm-7:30am Monday-Friday; Training on 2nd shift, possibly 1st shift if needed Hiring 3rd shift Canning Line Operators in Edwardsville, KS. We're looking for dependable individuals to operate production equipment, move ink tubs using a forklift, fill containers, weigh products, and apply labels. If you're reliable, safety-minded, and ready to learn, this is a great opportunity to get started in manufacturing! Canning Line Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate and monitor canning line equipment according to work instructions - Safely operate a forklift to retrieve and transport ink tubs to the production area - Position tubs on the appropriate equipment for processing - Assist with dispensing or pressing ink from tubs into buckets and other containers - Weigh filled containers to ensure product accuracy - Apply labels to containers and prepare finished products for handling and shipment - Prepare containers, labels, and materials needed for production - Follow production orders and established procedures - Clean equipment and transport tubs to the tub washer when production is complete, as required - Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area - Participate in training and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities - Perform additional duties as assigned Canning Line Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - Good attendance and punctuality - Strong attention to detail - Good verbal and written communication skills - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Forklift experience preferred - Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus IND060 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
