Job Summary

The Director, Global Technology Alliances leads Imprivata's global Alliance Account Management function and sets the direction of the Access Management Alliance. This leader manages the alliance team and shapes an ecosystem that supports Imprivata's growth through technology integrations, strategic alliances, and joint go-to-market programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the Access Management Alliance strategy, alliance tiers, benefits, commercial model, and program governance.
  • Positions the ecosystem for growth. Identify gaps in technology integrations and alliance coverage, prioritize investments, and balance integration breadth with deeper strategic alliances.
  • Benchmark leading technology ecosystems and work with Product and Engineering to improve integration tools, including SDKs and APIs, developer enablement, onboarding, certification, and alliance support.
  • Use AI and other tools to build alliance self-service capabilities for onboarding, integration guidance, troubleshooting, and GTM components.
  • Improve the alliance portal with searchable documentation, SDKs and APIs, and clear integration status so alliances can find answers and progress independently.

  • Prioritize AI and automation investments using feedback from alliance managers and developers, and coordinate implementation with Product, Engineering, and Business Systems.
  • Drive adoption of self-service tools through training and feedback. Track usage, support deflection, and time saved to guide ongoing improvements.
  • Build joint business plans with priority alliances and drive account mapping, field enablement, co-selling, and pipeline development with Sales and Marketing.
  • Define ecosystem success measures covering customer adoption, alliance-influenced pipeline and revenue, retention, and integration efficiency. Use results to guide investment.
  • Establish global alliance account ownership, deliver a prioritized ecosystem roadmap, and launch growth plans and a consistent performance scorecard.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in enterprise technology alliances or business development, with experience leading global teams and managing technology integrations and alliance ecosystems.
  • Proven success developing alliance programs and joint go-to-market initiatives that deliver measurable business growth.
  • Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, analytical, and executive communication skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management and enterprise integrations. Healthcare IT experience preferred.
