Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor functions to include cleaning and painting equipment
• Periodically, if called upon, be able to travel with the rebuild teams to support the plants.
• Pickup and delivery of parts and materials
• Move or position a variety of equipment
• Assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
• Be able to learn and progress as a technician
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to work closely with other maintenance personnel.
• Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Ability to pass color test
• Ability to sit, stoop, and bend.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of tools required to rebuild, repair, setup, and dismantle all types of corrugated equipment
• Must be able to work with limited supervision
• Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
• Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
