Your Role

As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Aptiv, you will be a strategic partner to our business leaders, providing comprehensive HR support and guidance. This role requires a deep understanding of the business objectives and the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals. You will play a critical role in driving talent strategies, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring employee engagement and development. In your daily job you will:

  • Develop strong relationships with business leaders to understand their objectives and challenges, providing HR guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure effective recruitment strategies that meet business needs and promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, performance management, and talent development.
  • Performance Management: Administer/support the performance review process phases for assigned staffs and direct employees. Lead Performance Calibration process for assigned staffs. Partner with Managers to coordinate and administer Performance Improvement Plans for employees when required .
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and implementation of change management strategies.
  • Partner with the global functional HRBP's to ensure regional alignment
  • Leadership Coaching: Provide coaching to leadership to maximize employee engagement, team interaction and effective rollout of initiatives.
  • Training: Support employee training initiatives/rollout for assigned staff areas.
  • Employee Engagement: Run culture survey and focus groups to understand areas for improvement. Base improvement plans off of employee feedback to improve the morale/employee experience.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and develop proactive solutions to address issues and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Support and lead various HR projects and initiatives related to talent management, compensation, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across multiple regions.

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a strategic HRBP role, preferably in the technology or automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in driving organizational change and implementing HR initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a global mindset.
