The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Division of Family Planning in the the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a short term casual Student Research Worker to work closely with the Director of Research and Research Manager in recruiting participants for various clinical trials.

Responsibilities

The clinical research aide will be responsible for the following:



  • Completion of GCP, HIPAA and applicable regulatory training
  • Assist in the recruitment of research study subjects; Explain clinical research studies to participants and answer questions remotely and in-person
  • Develop, manage, and monitor online recruitment platforms, including social media
  • Maintain confidentiality of documents and files
  • Regular collaboration with Principal Investigators and other research staff
  • Assist in data management, data cleaning, validation, and data analysis as needed
  • Assist in preparation of materials for presentations and publication
  • Assist in other research related activities and projects as needed


Minimum Qualifications



  • High School diploma with six months related experience
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with common social media platforms
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications



  • Working knowledge of SPSS a plus.
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of diplomacy, discretion, and problem skills needed.
  • Spanish language proficiency highly-desired.
