As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our New Product Delivery (NPD) process, ensuring our cutting-edge designs transition seamlessly into full-scale production. This isn't just about keeping up-it's about pushing the boundaries of what's possible. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with product design teams and global manufacturing sites to drive efficiency, improve manufacturability, and engineer the future of our industry-leading products. Success requires a passion for manufacturing as well as a solid understanding of all the teams required to execute NPD successfully. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with proven "big picture" vision, problem solving, and change management experience. Seeking experience in prioritization and having the ability to adapt to new situations quickly, and accountable for their decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Push the limits - challenge conventional manufacturing methods and drive continuous improvement in speed, efficiency, and quality

  • Lead indirect cross-functional teams to drive change and implement new processes and systems needed to successfully manufacture products to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business

  • Conduct Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) reviews and improve product manufacturability through product engineering collaboration

  • Drive global improvements in DFMA through consistent engagement and coaching of our global teams

  • Lead cross-functional Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) reviews, identify, and reduce process risks

  • Drive cultural improvement in PFMEA and Process Control Plans globally

  • Lead discussions and consideration for potential process automation and related product design requirements

  • Communicate, both verbally and written, to ensure all groups are working toward the goal of timely project completion. Regularly make presentations of project status for various levels of the organization.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A builder's mindset - you're not afraid to get your hands dirty and thrive in fast-paced, highly technical environments

  • Proven track record of increasing responsibility in manufacturing engineering and advanced manufacturing engineering, with a strong emphasis on establishing and optimizing new product introduction processes

  • Effective change manager with proven ability to quickly establish credibility with different business units, influence project teams, and persuade professionals at all levels

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in DFMA, PFMEA, and simulation tools.

  • Track record of success with cross-functional teams, driving change, and implementing new processes that significantly improve team effectiveness.

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent years of directly related experience.

  • Experience with 3D product and process modeling software

  • Willingness to travel 25-50% internationally

Desired Qualifications:

  • International work experience and exposure

  • Experience in advanced Assembly processes: Error-Proofing, Controls, and Automation

  • Experience in Fabrication processes: Machining, Forging, Heat Treating, Metal Stamping, and Welding is a plus

  • Experience in Injection Molding is a plus

  • Thorough understanding of problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure
