| Job Description Scope of Position The Center for Wellness and Prevention Department houses various multidisciplinary programs and services that focus on primary and secondary prevention and rehabilitation, including: -Inpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation at UH/Ross -Inpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation at UH/James -Inpatient Vascular Rehabilitation at UH/Ross -Bariatric Surgery Program -Medical Weight Management Programming, -Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation at UH -Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation at UH -General Fitness/Wellness Programming at UH -Outpatient Non-invasive Cardiopulmonary Stress Testing at Martha Moorehouse Medical Plaza. This position will provide individual and group nutrition/lifestyle assessment and education for patients in one or all of the above outpatient programs. Position Summary Staff Dietitians are responsible for providing nutritional care to patients who may include screening, nutrition/lifestyle assessment and care plan development, ongoing nutrition intervention, nutrition counseling and diet education according to department and medical center policies and procedures. Staff Dietitians organize their work and set priorities to plan programs to meet the priority nutrition and customer service needs of the patient population they serve. Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Level Degree Required Qualifications Registered and/or Registration Eligible, licensed (state of Ohio) dietitian. Previous work experience as a dietitian is preferred. | |
