Technical & Transactional Accounting Senior Consultant

Professional and Technical Abilities:

• Develop excellent professional oral and written communication skills in order to establish working
• relationships with client personnel
• Exhibit a professional, business-like demeanor
• Apply problem solving skills and deliver methodology on engagements
• Build and broaden industry knowledge to support organization and functional initiatives by taking
• advantage of our training programs and participating in relevant teams
• Be knowledgeable in the areas of stock-based compensation, basic revenue recognition concepts, goodwill and intangible assets, operating and finance leases and financial statement drafting, cash and investments, fixed assets, accrued expenses and prepaid expenses
• Exercise professional judgment on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendations
• Provide recommendations for improved and enhanced business efficiency to clients
• Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to other consultants
• Proactively manage career - set goals and career plans with Managing Directors

Senior Consultant Responsibilities include:

• Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
• Understand engagement as it relates to client's business
• Demonstrate knowledge in some areas of industry or functional specialty
• Assume responsibility for components of engagements
• Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring high quality of related products/deliverables for each
• engagement
• Deliver services that meet standards of excellence
• Recognize and communicate opportunities to sell "add-on" work to client
• Writing components of various reports/deliverables related to engagements

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA/BBA/BS in Accounting, Finance or business related field required
• US CPA is a plus
• MBA/MS/MA degree is a plus
• CFA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP certification is a plus
• 3+ years related experience required
• Knowledge of US GAAP is required
• Knowledge of IFRS standards is a plus
• Prior public accounting or consulting experience is preferred
• Prior industry experience is a plus
• Team leadership skills/experience is a plus
• Proficiency in MS office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 years of experience in related field
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Presentation skills mandatory
• Must possess analytical skills
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $85,000- $145,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
