Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Professional and Technical Abilities:
- Develop excellent professional oral and written communication skills in order to establish working
- relationships with client personnel
- Exhibit a professional, business-like demeanor
- Apply problem solving skills and deliver methodology on engagements
- Build and broaden industry knowledge to support organization and functional initiatives by taking
- advantage of our training programs and participating in relevant teams
- Be knowledgeable in the areas of stock-based compensation, basic revenue recognition concepts, goodwill and intangible assets, operating and finance leases and financial statement drafting, cash and investments, fixed assets, accrued expenses and prepaid expenses
- Exercise professional judgment on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendations
- Provide recommendations for improved and enhanced business efficiency to clients
- Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to other consultants
- Proactively manage career - set goals and career plans with Managing Directors
Senior Consultant Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
- Understand engagement as it relates to client's business
- Demonstrate knowledge in some areas of industry or functional specialty
- Assume responsibility for components of engagements
- Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring high quality of related products/deliverables for each
- engagement
- Deliver services that meet standards of excellence
- Recognize and communicate opportunities to sell "add-on" work to client
- Writing components of various reports/deliverables related to engagements
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BBA/BS in Accounting, Finance or business related field required
- US CPA is a plus
- MBA/MS/MA degree is a plus
- CFA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP certification is a plus
- 3+ years related experience required
- Knowledge of US GAAP is required
- Knowledge of IFRS standards is a plus
- Prior public accounting or consulting experience is preferred
- Prior industry experience is a plus
- Team leadership skills/experience is a plus
- Proficiency in MS office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3 years of experience in related field
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Presentation skills mandatory
- Must possess analytical skills
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $85,000- $145,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
