Qualifications:

1.Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate required, emphasis on Communications, Health Communications or Mass Communication preferred

Responsibilities:

The ATI Section Head position has responsibilities for creating, scheduling and carrying out educational plans and programs for community/regional systems with respected to tobacco-related infant death, maintaining the SCNJ website specific to the mission and generate/evaluate a database regarding tobacco use and infant death.

The Section Head will also be responsible for spearheading grant applications with respect to tobacco/infant mortality topics which include preparation, submission and management of grants as well as participating in research dissemination.

Reporting:

Position reports to Thomas Hegyi, M.D. Medical Director and Barbara Ostfeld, Ph.D., Program Director of the SIDS Center of New Jersey
