Skills An attention to detail Basic computer skills Teamwork Communication Dependability Short Description A Mechanic D is responsible for keeping our facilities looking clean and professional by maintaining the cleanliness of our equipment and keeping everything organized and easily accessible. The ideal person for this role is energetic, eager to help, and hungry to learn and grow their career. This role is a springboard to other opportunities at Herc Rentals including Driver, Mechanic, and Sales and Operations Coordinator roles. Responsibilities Loads and unloads trucks Operate light delivery trucks Scrape and paint Contractor equipment Clean and stage equipment Perform all other types of unskilled work Assist Class "A", "B", and "C" mechanics Ability to change oil and filters, check and replace batteries, and adjust and/or replace belts on engines Requirements Professional Experience Educational Background High School Diploma/GED Conditions of Employment A valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to communicate with customers Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to input information into computer systems Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Programs Ability to safely drive and operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment Be able to regularly lift 50lbs or more Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time Ability to perform repetitive tasks; stretch, turn, twist, and reach overhead; bend, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for extended periods of time Compensation Data $20-$22hr Req #: 55061 Pay Range: [[postingPayRange Please be advised that the actual salary offered for any position is subject to the company's sole discretion and may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, location, and overall fit for the role.
