Position Description

We're looking for an experienced senior level TypeScript developer to help us develop the next product for Deque. Deque is the trusted industry leader of web accessibility and we're developing a new set of automated testing rules to report on accessibility issues that were previously only possible with manual audits.

Come work alongside industry experts and WCAG standard body members as we directly contribute to helping companies find and fix accessibility issues during website development. As a member of the team, you will leverage machine learning, computer vision, browser API's, and modern web technologies to research and develop new advanced rules. As a market leader, Deque is pushing the boundaries of what is possible, and you will play a critical role in developing innovative solutions for challenging problems that have never been solved before.

Our team is fully remote and has very flexible working hours. We work primarily in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node to develop libraries, APIs, and browser extensions. You can find an example of the sort of code our team works on at https://github.com/dequelabs/axe-core.
