Position Highlights: Sign on bonus: (if applicable) Position: Location: [City, IL] Full Time/Part Time: [Full Time / Part Time] Hours: Monday-Friday, [hours and flexible work schedules] Required Travel: A Brief Overview: The purpose of the Physician FPA is to provide medical direction for the Hospice patient care program according to Hospice policy and procedure. This position reports to the Vice President, Home Services. This position is 55% Health Information Technology, 25% Accountable Care Organization, 20% Medical Group practicing physician. Ability to plan, direct and coordinate all activities of assigned initiatives with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability in representing the HIT department, its strategies and policies in appropriate administrative and clinical meetings. Demonstrate a high degree of motivation. Possesses managerial skills that empower and develop others; is sensitive to others and fosters teamwork. Demonstrates stewardship in the application of ethics and the use of resources. Is sensitive to social and cultural issues. Project management proficiency. Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management throughout the organization(s) being supported. Ability to interface, creating a positive working relationship, with HIT related organizational divisions external to NorthShore. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and the expertise to translate clinical and technical terminology into terms understandable by management, department heads and performance level personnel. An understanding of the healthcare applications suite and their place in the acute care, physician, ambulatory and ancillary settings. Ability to solve highly complex organizational, operational and people problems. Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and problem solving skills.
