Community Outreach Research Coordinator

Location: 1399 S Roxbury Drive, Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90035

Duration: 12 weeks with a possible extension

We are a team of 4 PIs, 6 clinical research coordinators, 1 data manager, and 2 lab staff. We are looking for an individual who has experience with HIV community resources and community based organizations. We need someone who can run a monthly HIV/Community Advisory Board; create outreach materials for specific studies; conduct pre-screen recruitment calls. We are looking for someone with familiarity with HIV prevention, biology of HIV and treatment of HIV.

Required Experience:

• Outreach experience
• Experience dealing with LGBTQ populations
• Exceptionally good communication skills both in writing and orally.

Preferred Qualification:

• Spanish speaker
• Social media content creation
• Involvement in or strong understanding of research

Interview Process: The first step is an initial zoom with the hiring manager. An additional Zoom will take place with the PIs and MSO of our division. That will be coordinated with an in-person visit to the clinic to meet the staff.
