How you will Contribute:
  • Analyze and implement risk-based solutions relating to consumer-based regulations
  • Experience operating in the 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd, lines of defense
  • Working knowledge of banking laws and global regulations
  • Maintain and achieve high quality in work, client relations and team relations
  • Acquirethe skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty
  • Assume the responsibility for staff work and ensurehighqualityof workisdelivered within established deadlines
  • Serveinmore of a leadership role on client work as technical knowledge and experience grows
  • Support anytraining and mentoringtostaff and internsas necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the firm'sleadership
  • Execute andhelpleadclient engagementactivitiesinall phases ofprojectlife cyclefromstart to end
We Are Looking for People Who Have Forward Vision and:
  • Independent thinking skills by making decisions related to engagements to include dynamic problem solving, risk assessment, quality control, and data and information evaluation
  • Highly Proficient verbal and written English communication skills; ability to communicate effectively
  • Professional demeanor toward duties and responsibilities, particularly with regard to independence, professional ethics, and the exercise of professional judgment
  • Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 years or more of experienceinpublic accounting, regulatory compliance, or related consulting experience required
  • Relevant certifications (CAMS, CRCM, CIA, CISA, CPA)
  • BA or BS in Accounting or related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in accounting or related field required
  • Regulatory compliance experience in Bank Compliance, Compliance Audit, and/or as former Bank Regulator
  • Working knowledge of UDAAP, Reg B, Reg C, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg E, CRA, SCRA, Fair Lending, Flood, FCRA, and HMDA

New York City Pay Transparency
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
