Who We Need

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with reviewing contracts, processing accounts payable, creating AR invoices, submitting invoices to customers, and providing customer and management reporting on billings and collections for a fast-growing company. Knowledge of government accounting regulations is a plus. This is a work from home position.

What You'll Do

• Create and review invoices based on contractual requirements
• Submit invoices to clients
• Review and process accounts payable and reconcile credit card monthly
• Review contracts and contract modifications
• Work with project managers on contract requirements
• Update files for billing and collection information and provide reporting to customers and management
• Work with employees on expense reports as well as review and process ER's
• Create journal entries, as necessary, for proper revenue recognition and cost adjustments/allocations
• Provide general accounting support as needed
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Your Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of invoicing experience with T&M and FFP contracts
• Experience working with various accounting systems
• Basic to intermediate understanding of GAAP
• Intermediate Excel capabilities
• Proficient with other Microsoft products (Internet Explorer, Outlook, and Word)
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities
• Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience handling multiple clients, client communication and client interaction

Desired

• Experience with PROCAS Accounting, Unanet, or Costpoint
• Familiarity with WAWF, GSA Assist, and / or CONCUR Travel & Expense
