As a Specialist I supporting our Manufacturing Team, you will be trusted to work on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing packaging machinery/equipment at Sinking Spring, PA. In this role, a typical day will include: Perform a variety of repetitive, skilled manual operations to exacting standards Strict adherence to SOP's and GMP's Ability to read and understand product specifications, Blueprints, and documentation Assist in maintaining of detailed product documentation and verification of applicable records Must maintain a clean and orderly work area Must be responsible for product quality during manufacturing process Set grinding wheel, adjust press station or curve when required WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON: High School Diploma or equivalent The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English Work hours: 2nd Shift - 3pm-11pm Travel Requirements: None Relocation Assistance: None Sponsorship Available: No Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience Previous experience with machine operation, set ups and/or troubleshooting Punch Press and Grinding experience Strong analytical and mechanical skills Visual acuity Manual Dexterity HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON: Join Alcon's mission to provide outstanding, innovative products and solutions to improve sight, improve lives, and grow your career!
