The environment can be outside and in other spaces that are not environmentally controlled. The temperature can be over 100F or below 32F. There can be mud on the ground as well as ice and snow. At times, the employee will be required to wear PPE (i.e. hard hat, safety boots, hearing protection, eye protection, etc.). At times, the employee will be working in an environment with significant noise. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee needs to be able to spend 10 hours on their feet walking and attending to duties and equipment throughout the jobsite. They need to be able to climb ladders and step on platforms and equipment. They need to be able to maneuver (stoop, crawl, bend) around obstacles to reach equipment for testing and troubleshooting.
