The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine seeks applicants for an Administrative Assistant or Intermediate Administrative Assistant to perform clerical and administrative work for the section of Pediatric Psychology and Behavioral Health. Administrative Assistants perform work of a clerical nature, providing office support under direct supervision. Work is typically repetitive and follows consistent practice and established procedures. Typical duties include: calendar management, reimbursements, account management, Qgenda, email communication, etc. Administrative Assistants consult with supervisors for most decisions outside of standard operating procedures. The successful candidate will join a supportive, learning-oriented team that employs outstanding people and is progressive in its initiatives to develop and support its staff, making it a great place to work. This candidate will collaborate and provide cross coverage to the division of Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics and can be reassigned to another division within the department if needed. Anticipated Hiring Range is $36,000 - $40,000 commensurate with education and experience. This position will remain open until filled. This is a restricted position and is dependent upon project need, availability of funding and performance. This is non-exempt level, benefited position and will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
