Must be able to work 12 Hour Days during training and then nights on a rotating shift. (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off)

Starting pay is $19.84 an hour with robust benefits.



JOB SUMMARY

Injection Operator B's are responsible for the following skills: inspection, engraving, 35-Ton, 50-Ton, ET-50 and SI-250 injection. Trainees must successfully complete written and practical assessment of skills/knowledge at end of skills training.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Must be able to read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI).
  • Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision.
  • Must be able to maintain expected quality levels.
  • Comply with all site required policies and procedures, including but not limited to:
  • EHS, Quality, Code of Conduct and the Wichita Falls Employee Handbook.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Repetitive injection and control of wax patterns and sprues.
2. Performs inspection of all patterns and sprues. Determines whether to accept, reject, or repair the pattern per documented instructions.
3. Follows established protocol for notification of potential deviations or scrap trends.
4. Performs set-up of dimensional gauges.
5. Utilizes the necessary fixturing or gauges to ensure dimensional conformance of the patterns, molds, cores, etc. to specified tolerances.
6. Prepares sprues as required and locates ceramic bracing per engineering specification.
7. Performs specified operations during injection cycle.
8. Torch sprues, seal and pour cup. Add bracing as required per engineering specifications.
9. Maintains necessary supplies for the area to maximize productivity.
10. Must pay close attention to detail.
11. Sets up equipment as required to perform specific activities.
12. Follow 5S rules and procedures.
13. Utilize help chain when needed. (Human Performance, BOLO)
14. Works overtime as needed.
15. Performs other duties as required.

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITES


  • Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Requires wearing safety glasses, gloves and Metatarsal shoes.
  • Report all job-related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
  • Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Attend all EHS training.

  • Carry items with one hand.
  • Work requires moderate physical effort including prolonged standing.
  • Squatting/crouching/bending when retrieving stored items from lower shelves, moving equipment and product inspections.
  • lifting >5 Lbs.
  • Must pass Jaeger I eye exam.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Basic Computer skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of wax experience is preferred.
