The basics of this position: The Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing the College Prep program on the Forest Park campus. Responsibilities include recruiting, scheduling, training, and supervising tutors, and promoting the program through internal and external presentations. Collaborating closely with the District Manager, this role will also involve policy implementation. Additionally, the Supervisor will serve as a tutor in one of the core subject areas (Math, Reading, and/or English), directly assisting students with onboarding, evaluation, tutoring, and program completion. Furthermore, the Supervisor will advocate for underprepared/underrepresented student populations and collaborate with faculty to enhance student readiness for college-level coursework in math, reading, and English. Education, experience, and other requirements: Bachelor's Degree in English, Mathematics, or Reading or a Bachelor's Degree in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in English, Mathematics, or Reading. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in developmental education or tutoring |
