Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the definition, oversight, coordination and development of technology designs, along with the related road maps and lifecycle management.

Essential Functions:

  • Aligns their efforts across the various technical architectural disciplines within the team to develop innovative and appropriate architectures and roadmaps that enable the enterprise to deliver best-in-class services to their clients, partners and employees

  • Provide overall cloud architecture guidance, governance, and recommendations in support of technical objectives

  • Collaborate with partners in IT infrastructure and application organizations in specifying solutions that provide for data integrity, information confidentiality and service availability

  • Direct involvement in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise

  • Specify controls that reasonably mitigate risk while considering business, technical, operational and compliance objectives, as well as effectiveness and cost

  • Work with the department leadership in establishing technology architecture strategy, goals, and objectives

  • Partner with peers within all Information Technology groups to promote security architecture principles, standards, methods, and strategic direction for the enterprise

  • Facilitate overall analysis, design, artifacts, and technical requirements validation for strategic initiatives

  • Define the future architecture and the roadmap to get from the current state to the end target

  • Lead the definition and documentation of information security-related architecture deliverables, policy, standards, and processes.

  • Develop technical architectures that will drive reduced cost, increased availability, improved security, client experience, and greater flexibility

  • Management of the risks associated with information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies

  • Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise

  • Deliver engaging, informative and well-organized presentations

  • Effectively executes and communicates change management

  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required

  • Master's degree is preferred

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in related areas including seven (7) years of direct experience in developing and implementing technically diverse secure application and infrastructure architectures for companies

  • Minimum of three (3) years of Security Architecture experience preferred

  • Possesses wide base of experience in many disciplines of information technology including: Operating Systems (Unix, Windows, Linux), Performance Management and Capacity Planning, Messaging Software and Interoperability Techniques and Standards, Business Intelligence and Analysis, Web & Server Technologies, E-Commerce Network Design and Protocol, E-Business Enabling Technologies, Storage, Directory Services, Network Engineering (Switching, Routing, Content Management), Information Technology Hardware, Data Center Designs and Consolidations, Virtualization Technology Skills, IT Service Management Principles

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills; listening and critical thinking; presentation skills, facilitation skills

  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all different levels

  • Flexibility during organizational and/or business changes

  • Customer Service oriented

  • Ability to lead technical evaluations and conduct research & development in emerging technologies

  • Effectively disseminates information to appropriate audiences verbally and in writing

  • Ability to actively gather appropriate level of participation and input to decision-making and foster it within teams

Licensure and Certification:

  • CISSP, GSEC, or equivalent Cloud Security Certification required

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:
$132,900.00 - $232,700.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
